Hope all is well. It feels great to be able to sit down and blog properly again. The past few weeks have been crazy but I am not complaining as I am always grateful for any opportunity that comes my way and I like to be on the go as it means I have lots of new material to produce for you all :) I was in Dublin a few weeks ago for 2 events and first up was the Black Carpet event with INSON Fashion Agency
This event was an exciting preview of the Spring/Summer 16 collection of a few exclusive designers. I know what you are thinking, Summer clothing ... and we have only started to wear the winter woolies?! The fashion industry is always at least 2 seasons ahead of what's currently in stock in stores so there's no time to be wasting!
INSON are one of Ireland's biggest fashion agencies based in Belfast and Dublin and they represent some of the top brands in the industry and then retail these brands in exclusive boutiques, department stores and franchises. INSON specialise in brands from Scandinavia, Holland and Germany and some such examples are Part Two, HV Polo, Karen By Simonsen, InWear, Soaked In Luxury, Numph, Kaffe, NoaNoa, Charli and Paperchain Jewellery. I love discovering new clothing ranges and it was an honour to meet all of the designers at the event.
When I finally arrived at the showroom (thank goodness for Google maps as my sense of direction is appalling) the event was in full swing and I was greeted by the lovely Hannah Robinson who works for the Agency. The prosecco was flowing and Cathy O'Connor who is one of the stylists on Xpose was talking through some of the outfits for the mini fashion show.
I had a nosy around all of the brands that were on display and Danish designer Karen Simonsen was my favourite. Her collection was really quirky, edgy, funky and colourful so hence it was right up my street :) Below you can see a picture of the main lady herself and a few items from her brand - I think the jumpsuit and white fringed waistcoat are AMAZING!!

I absolutely loved the colours running through this dress and the elasticated waist band means it would suit a wide variety of shapes. The brand is NUMPH and their philosophy is to create items that are feminine yet rough and vulnerable but strong. I think this is a dress you could wear during the day with a nice pair of sandals or wedges and then glam it up with a pair of court heels for night with a leather jacket.
I thought this fringe dress was really funky and this is from the brand Part Two. I think a black leather jacket complete this look if you were to wear it at night.

Ninette from HV Polo doing her thang! I thought this brand was really cool as it has a sport meets fashion vibe. If you think on Equestrian, this is the theme that best describes this collection.
I hope you have enjoyed reading this post and now have a new found knowledge of these designers.
