How was everyone's
weekend? I spent mine pampering myself with a few GlamGlow products
that I was kindly given. I had heard so many brilliant things about
the brand so I was definitely looking forward to seeing what the fuss
was all about. I am going to kickstart the first review with the
Supermud Clearing Treatment!
Now, being honest, I
have not used a face mask in years. I would always use them when I
was in secondary school and you would think the older you get, the
more you feel the need to use them... well not me! Haha. In saying
all of that, The GlamGlow mud treatment rekindled my love of face
masks again. I forgot

First off, the smell
of the GlamGlow mud treatment is really refreshing and exhilarating.
I applied mine first thing in the morning, and its safe to say it
definitely woke me up. When you first apply it, it is a deep grey colour and then as it sets and hardens it turns to a blue shade, so
be prepared to look like a smurf for a couple of minutes. As it is a
mud treatment, your face can feel pretty tight, but rest assured it
is all worth it. I kept mine on for 10-12 minutes and then washed it
off with water. Afterwards, my face felt really soft and had a
slight glow which was even more noticeable the following day when I
applied my foundation. I have combination skin so my forehead can
tend to get a bit dry throughout the day, so I was pleased to
discover half way through my shift at work that my make-up hadn't
budged.
I have used masks in
the past that end up leaving your face feeling very rigid once you
have washed them off, but an added bonus with this treatment is that
it instantly disappears when you put water to it.
One of the best
things about the product is that not only can it be used as a face
mask, but also as a spot treatment for both male and female due to
its Teaoxi ingredients. I was unaware of this and noticed that after
I had washed it off, my spot above my eyebrow had reduced by at least
90%. As I have said before, I don't normally have any problems with
my skin but I have never had a spot disappear so quickly after using
a product. The product is known to combat most common skin problems
and it is also suitable for all skin types.
I got my mum to try
it so that I could get an idea of what it is like for the more mature
skin. She is also now a fan of the product, but particularly loved
how it also left her face with a really glowing and hydrated effect
as her skin would normally be quite dry. Unfortunately the wrinkles
weren't cured overnight unlike my spot! ;) My Mum is a skin fanatic
and rather fussy when it comes to skincare, so it was great to hear
such positivity from her end too.
